Making It Plain

I suppose this thought came to me as I watched women grunt (myself included) when trying to be unleashed from the back seat of a 2 door sedan. She pulled herself up by holding onto the back of the passenger seat and then had to be assisted while bent over and stepping out of the car. It didn't look pleasant to watch or experience. It is the reason I will never purchase a 2 door vehicle. I recall when dating and visiting my date's church, I had to excuse myself to go to the ladies room. I was seated on his right and he was sitting on the aisle seat. So I whispered to him that I had to get up. He said, "oh," and put his knees together while straightening his back up against the back of the seat. I looked at him while in the position of standing up....as if that was supposed to make it easier for me to pass by him to get to where I needed to. The Word tells us that we are like trees planted by the rivers of water, that our leaf shall not wither and whatsoever we touch shall prosper ( Psalm 1:3 KJV) . Though this is a metaphor - being like a tree, yet I still can not think about this verse without the verse where Jesus spoke to the woman at the well. He said that He had a drink that she could have where she would never thirst again. Recall that this is only after He told her about what she had been doing with so many men and the man she was with wasn't her husband either. Her personality was that she had an appetite for sexual contact anyway she could get it. It is why she had been with so many men and was with someone else's husband. Back then the laws were is an adulterer was caught, she was stoned to death. She apparently believed her need was greater then being stoned. First, understand that the soul is made up of the will, mind, and emotions. Now you know that God wishes above all things that your soul is healthy ( 3 John 2 AMP ). With these two things in mind also add that confessions of the past cleanses that soul with a renewed mind and making those old things to pass away ( 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV ). As Christians we tend to say things with our emotions that seem to sound good but it actually isn't good  at all. Let's recall being so in love to the point of this person being your whole world . You actually believed you were soul mates . Her eyes captivated your heart . Let's not forget the ever popular, you are my whole life . Saying these things didn't make the experience of being together anymore fulfilling. Those words only kept emotions ignited to the point of sexual temptation.
