Learning of the new technologies that are on the market today is just fascinating. Once you get use to one product, a few weeks later something else is invented to perfect the thing you just got. Reading all of the instruction manuals to keep it all straight is a course all of its own, still, no less fascinating. USB  One of the things I have learned over the years is to protect my USB. I might have a large storage of memory on my hard drive but the travel sized storage isn't something I can just hook onto a pair of keys or throw in my purse without making sure the top of it is covered with a cap, in a specialty bag or something. I am finding the same is true when using it in various PCs or any other device that will receive it. I can't just stick it anywhere and expect for it to work for me each and every time I try to retrieve the information. I was in the library trying to do some research when I heard a woman asking the librarian for some computer help. She was tryi...

Eh...Once A Month Is Plenty

There is a  recent entry to this blog entitled, The Glue To A Marriage . In it is described the mistakes that were made when the original message was heard  and then I read the Word for myself. By that time, my marriage had failed. Things done would have been different if the lessons came from the real truth . It is why I continue to write for my brothers and sisters in Christ to learn for themselves so not to fall in the same error. This entry is from the reaction I hear women talk about dealing with their marital duties ( 1 Corinthians 7:4 AMP ). I see the look on their faces as they describe sex as being such the chore like laundry and washing dishes. The euphoric look in their eyes as they use to have when they were dating is gone. What happened to that mystique that we all wish would never go away? Those tingles and the butterflies in our stomachs at the sight of the intended when they are close by, what happened to that? Do we get use to the other person and eventual...

The Marriage Bed Is Undefiled

The marriage bed is the point of a sort of Utopia in which the Christian couple can partake thereof free from any sort of guilt (that is, if they didn't wait prior to getting married - just being real). It is where the consummation of the blessed union takes place. It is the reason many young people rush into things without checking for all of the other priorities first. It is the place where the couple begins their life together in bliss or the beginnings of constant turmoil. I wrote a number of entries about the troubles a couple can receive if marrying on an impulse. This is not what I am writing for now. The thoughts of my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ not having a full scope of  how necessary maturity in Christ must be in order to marry was bothering me. You see, when dating for the purposes of marriage comes about, there are two different people with thoughts and ideas of what they want in a marriage.  Those two people lived lives in a household, more then...

Marriage: A Ministry

Many, many times I listen to ministers begin each and every sermon with,"I would like to thank this or that...blah-blah... and I count this being here as an honor and a privilege to minster to you this morning..." And indeed, as I thought about it, it is an honor to be chosen to preach to God's people. God in as much trusts that speaker to say what He has given the speaker to say. This person has studied, prayed and is well equip to say and pray the way God has instructed him/her to do. The speaker has taken his position seriously and is not just saying what he thinks sounds good just to increase CD sales and to get a hefty love offering in the end. He/she is not just pulling at the heart strings of emotion for the majority of the congregation to run around the church and be all out of breath to trick them in believing that the church service was really good only to try to make account of the words spoken and it was all fluff and nothing to sustain them for the week....

Gentlemen, Did You Ever Think This Would Happen To You?

I went to a church service that I formerly attended years ago. The people looked so different. Some gained weight while others just looked so old. Some cut their hair really short and others just lost their hair completely. When I stepped into the building there were several that remembered me and extended themselves to give me a hug. Others I expected to give hugs and they avoided me completely. I saw married couples that came to services in separate cars and sat on the opposites sides of the church. The only couple that sat together was my son and his girlfriend and the pastor and his wife. I found it sort of sad as I scoped all of the people I remembered from way back when. The purpose for me coming back to this ministry was because it was the place where my son and his girlfriend attended. He was going to the military and was asking for prayer from all of the members. They were sending him off with a going away party. I watched this particular couple. I remembered the man from th...

Who Bought The Cow When the Milk is Free?

It is the question the world has which reasonably makes sense when marriage is the factor as opposed to having pre-marital sex. Reasonably? Yes, we can reason to do whatever and when found in trouble still in complete ignorance and destainable foolishness, justify the reason for doing it. Also notice that past tense was used for having the question because the use of the cow and milk analogy is archaic along with the one about purchasing a car without test driving it or buying a house without having the walk through and the like. Why? Because it isn't difficult to find sex as it once was. Men use to enjoy the chase  and while still running he comes to the realization of his own foolishness. One use to believe this realization was his manhood. Why use to? Well, manhood is defined in different ways now and because in 7 years he will wonder if he still "has it." The "it" is called the "itch" and these days, women have it too. There is no need in definin...
