 There has always been a social status and the class divide where boundaries are made crystal clear whether blatant or not. You see, dividing parties based on how much money one makes in a year, the car he/she drives, and or where one resides was the basis of friendships, business partners, and including arranged marriages. The families would be pleased not based on cultural beliefs or spiritual commonalities but the outcome financially if anything happened to a family member, the surviving individual would be taken care of. It seems like good planning and very practical right until it spills over into one's personality and day to day living. There is this wonderful, exuberant time in every relationship where the tingles and butterflies pale in comparison with what goes on within you when you see that special person you have agreed to be a major factor in your life.  Don't mistake how great the feeling is when you have a liking for someone and they don't know you even exist - that's cool too especially when you are a child. It's the agreement of two people believing and knowing that the compatibility is everything you could ever think it would be. Having like interests, conversations that aren't difficult, family values are equally treasured, and the roles that each have are obvious and not debatable. Eventually, the conversation changes because you both question where the relationship is going. Is this long term or something to do over the Summer? The title of this blog is something I usually say when I have gotten fed up with some of the things we do as Christians. I know I am striving to be more like Him just like we all strive to do and I know we are at all different levels of maturity...still, don't you see some things can cause you to say to yourself, what were you thinking? Or how stupid are you? Or even still use some other colorful phrase that could possibly question if you are a Christian ( 1 Thessalonians 5:23 AMP )? Honestly, I have. But what else can you do when you see people do the silliest things and then ask God why... why... WHY?!!! Its not His fault. He told you to let Him be at the helm of your life ( Proverbs 3:6 AMP ). He told you to put on praise ( Isaiah 61:3 AMP ), the whole armor of God ( Ephesians 6:11 AMP ), and His love ( 1 Thessalonians 5:8 AMP ). He told you not to do evil for evil but to pray for those that do wrong to you and bless those that spitefully use you ( Matthew 5:44 KJV ). H...

This is a term I find impossible to do - make love. The world coined this term and has equated it with sex. As true believers, we know one has nothing to do with the other; therefore, why even use it? What's the purpose? Confusing? Keep reading so we can be on the same path - a clear, plain one. The bible clearly defines several times what Love is. The Word then, because of what we believe (Jesus is Lord), we know that He ( Love ) is the greater one housed in each of us. Understanding this, the bible then teaches of how to incorporate who and what He is into our lives. Jesus tells us of the greater commandments ( Matthew 22:37-40 AMP ). Paul defines Love in terms that can best be applied into our daily lives ( 1 Corinthians 13:3-9 AMP ). James makes reference to specific oppositional actions that tell us the love of God couldn't possibly be in such a person ( James 2:8-12 AMP ).
