Ladies, what if the Holy Spirit, Who shows us things to come (John 16:13 KJV), allowed you to see who your spouse is. He showed you and without a doubt you know it is him because of how you feel on the inside and you like what you see. Now, what is it that you need to do at that instant? Is there any instruction that the Holy Spirit is giving you? Would there be? If He is showing you who he is, would He be telling you anything else? You already know what the Word says about the matter. Should you wait to see if he (the guy) gets the same information and has the same reaction as you? Should you tell your friends hoping they can give you more insight than what the Holy Spirit gave you? Wisdom states to find her early while you can (Proverbs 8:1-17 KJV). For some it is because of choice. Paul thought it good to be single as well. He wrote if you are without a wife don't look to be married (1 Corinthians 7:27-28 AMP). Is it that Paul didn't understand the concept of marriage, the necessity of the institution, or would you believe that he contradicted the very Word he was teaching? God said it is not good for man to be alone (Genesis 2:18 NIV). We know that 1 puts 1,000 to flight but 2 puts 10,000 (Deuteronomy 32:30 AMP). The title of this post was a direct quote from a woman who decided to do something different because she was tired of waiting and reconciled with herself that he needed her help even with being proposed to. Well, how long is a woman suppose to wait when her desires are on a handsome single guy, but he is too shy to come over and say, hello? There is nothing wrong with her going over and breaking the ice, as long as he realizes that is all it was; afterwards, he can be the aggressor. Hm, I thought about this and actually believed I had written a post about it sometime ago... but that must have been the manuscript I was thinking about. It had to do with what one delicately puts as the May/December relationship. There may be snow on the roof but plenty of fire in the furnace... to not put it as delicately. In either analogy, you must be able to see the fallacies in that sort of thinking. Would that God put such a pair together? In grade school I couldn't understand the purpose of history. Was it going to make the present better or make a bleak future exciting? Do we decide not to repeat it or find ways better for the next generation? Those questions weren't answered. It was just a barrage of facts or false documents for a group of children to believe who would rather still be playing at recess. Is the attitude still there when we hear the past life of the person we are dating? How interesting is it? Does it change the present for the both of you? Will it make the future better or are you ready to get through it so you can go and "play"? Doctors ask these questions and more because they can determine the mortality of an individual. It isn't a cultural thing that has been done over the years with women and the relationships we have with men, but there is a difference with one ethnicity that isn't vocal with what they do to keep their men happy and two others ethnicities, that I know about, practically teach classes on it. I tried to do it and bottom line, its just too hard to keep it up. A man decided he was ready to marry but wasn't willing for his bride to be anybody. He had high ideals in this day and age but wondered if he should settle for someone that is not so high maintenance. He figured he could change her according to what he wanted seeing that woman is made for man. So he began his search. He came upon a woman who claimed Christianity but didn't know much about the Word of God only what pastors taught. He waited and watched how she behaved with certain issues and knew she would be ideal for his wife. At first he seemed very sincere with how much he had grown to love her then he changed.
